Toon Wars' second arc introduced the Nicktoons (who now go by the Toon Force) to the Cartoon Network universe in the form of Gumball Watterson fighting to save his town from a Syndicate invasion that led back to Volcano Island and the return of the Mawgu. A side story written around this time focused on the lesser known Mighty Magiswords cartoon, occurring immediately after Quest for Knowledge with the Warriors for Hire teaming up with some of their friends to stop an alien invasion. The Nicktoons Saga took place roughly 10 years following the finale of Globs of Doom and reintroduced much of the characters from the game series (with the exception of Spongebob who wouldn't appear until The Final Days). The first series released in 2017 revolves strictly around Cartoon Network and Nicktoons teaming up against the Syndicate, who have started a war by manipulating various cartoons into fighting one another, as well as gathering different assets from the Nicktoons Unite series to plan a number of evil schemes, each worse than the last. 1.2 Toon Wars Legacy and Its Many, MANY ExpansionsĬourage approves in the top left corner Toon Wars.
